Jessic Ngankam joined Eintracht from boyhood club Hertha BSC last summer. The forward has registered three goals and one assist in 23 competitive appearances for the Eagles this season.
Ngankam, who is under contract at Eintracht until 30 June 2028, will spend the rest of this campaign on loan at Bundesliga rivals Mainz.
“It’s important for Jessic to get a lot of playing time,” explained Eintracht board member for sport Markus Krösche. “At Mainz he has a high probability of getting game time. We wish him all the best for this move.”
