That then gave Dominik Livakovic the opportunity to be the decisive figure, the ‘keeper once again standing tall in the shoot-out.
Kolo Muani’s France taking on England on Saturday
In the semi-finals, Jakic’s Croatia will face Argentina at 20:00 CET on Tuesday, after the South American side squeezed past the Netherlands 4-3 on penalties late on Friday evening.
Prior to that match, Randal Kolo Muani’s France will be looking to book their own semi-final date, with the defending champions facing England on Saturday evening, again at 20:00 CET.
