Marco, what's your first impression of Eintracht and of being here in Alicante?
Marco Pezzaiuoli: "The first impression is very good. The sun is shining, the weather is agreeable and the atmosphere in the team is great. I've been very warmly welcomed, both by the coaching staff and the players."
How would you describe your role at Eintracht?
Marco Pezzaiuoli: "I mainly look after players who train in the senior squad as well as the youth set-up. Accordingly, I'll be working and dividing my time between the stadium and Riederwald. My work entails watching the lads, helping them stay on track and offering them support if required. We want to create the best possible conditions for them to take the step into the professional game successfully. For that to be the case, you have to look at the details. While preparing for and recovering from training sessions and matches, we work on technique, tactics and fitness, as well as on the mental side of the game."
Why did you decide to join Eintracht?
Marco Pezzaiuoli: "Eintracht is a very interesting club with a fantastic history and outstanding fans. On top of that, I had a very good discussion with Fredi Bobic and the coaching staff and that proved crucial in my decision."
