Indeed Unveiled as Eintracht Frankfurt’s New Sponsor

The contract with the world’s number one job site runs for a period of three years.

Eintracht Frankfurt today officially unveiled, Indeed, the world’s number one job site, as their new main sponsor. The three-year contract was announced at a press event at Eintracht’s club premises in Frankfurt. Indeed is the world’s most popular job search service, with sites in more than 60 countries and 28 languages and launched in Germany in 2012.

Axel Hellmann, member of the board of Eintracht Frankfurt Fußball AG, is very pleased about the partnership with a leading technology company: „Our talks with Indeed have been very inspiring and effective from the start. As a modern, fast-growing club with rich tradition, our goal was to find a main sponsor to help us tackle the important topics digitalization and internationalization. We are thrilled to have found this strong partner in Indeed. At the same time, we want to embrace the manifold possibilities of the digital age even more than we have in the past. Indeed has enormous expertise in this area that we are positive we will benefit from. In addition, we are striving to raise the profile of Eintracht Frankfurt on the international playing field, particularly in the USA. Our new main sponsor is the number one job site not only in the USA but globally, addressing unique challenges in different markets.”

The sponsorship with Indeed does not only extend to the first team, all junior football teams of the youth academy as well as the women’s and girl’s teams. It also covers all other sports and departments of the club and is aimed at the more than 46,000 members of the club.

“Indeed’s mission is to help people get jobs. We believe that if we are successful at helping many millions of job seekers then we will be successful as a company. When choosing the right partner in German football we sought to find a club that shared our focus on innovation and drive for success. Eintracht was the ideal partner for Indeed because it combines its rich heritage with a clear vision for the future. We were also impressed with Eintracht’s passionate, committed, and growing international fan base. We are therefore very excited to join Eintracht’s way in the Bundesliga. I personally had the opportunity to experience the great enthusiasm of the club and the fans at the German cup final in Berlin”, says Frank Hensgens, Managing Director of Indeed Germany.

With the sponsorship Indeed of course also pursues business goals for which the strong economy of Frankfurt and the region offers a lot of potential.

“Frankfurt and the surrounding Rhine-Main area has a reputation as one of the fast-growing, international hubs in the world. Many new jobs are emerging here in a variety of sectors and will continue to be created in the years to come. Indeed will make these jobs easy to find for job seekers and help employers fill those new roles. We are also proud to be part of Frankfurt’s bright future”, says Frank Hensgens, Managing Director of Indeed Germany.

The partnership between Eintracht Frankfurt and Indeed was developed with the support of leading international sports marketing agencies, Lagardère Sports and Mediacom Sport & Entertainment.

“The decision of Indeed clearly reflects the national and international appeal of the brand Eintracht Frankfurt. With this partnership, the world’s number one job site will increase its awareness in a highly competitive German market. With Indeed and Eintracht Frankfurt we brought together two strong brands which focus on interacting with their target groups – be it job seekers, employers, or fans. The partnership holds great potential for sponsorship activation in traditional and digital channels. We are looking forward to accompany the partnership over the next couple of years”, adds Philipp Hasenbein, Managing Director Lagardère Sports Germany.

“The partnership with Eintracht Frankfurt provides Indeed with a powerful platform through which it can engage with millions of job seekers in Germany. Bundesliga is one of the world’s most exciting and best attended sports leagues, second only to the NFL. Given many innovative initiatives which we are planning to execute now that partnership has been announced, we are convinced Indeed will enhance its position as the best job site in Germany”, said Misha Sher, Vice President, Sport & Entertainment at Mediacom.
