Viktoria Köln in the second round

Eintracht Frankfurt have been drawn against FC Viktoria Köln in the second round of the DFB Cup. Viktoria beat Werder Bremen 3-2 in the first round of the competition. The second-round tie will be held on Tuesday 31 October or Wednesday 1 November.

Board member for sport Markus Krösche: “Viktoria Köln knocked out Werder Bremen in the first round, so we need to take that as a warning. We know they have a good team. We want to progress to the next round and will do all we can to justify our tag as favourites. We’re in for a tough battle – and we’ll prepare ourselves for that.”
