Eintracht Frankfurt will meet SSC Napoli in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League. The UEFA Europa League winners were paired with the Serie A leaders in Monday lunchtime’s draw at the headquarters of European football in Nyon, performed by Hamit Altintop. The Italians topped Group A ahead of Liverpool, among others.
As runners-up in Group D, the Eagles are at home for the first leg before contesting the second leg at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
The first legs of the round of 16 ties will be played on 14/15/21/22 February, with the second legs on 7/8/14/15 March 2023 – all on a Tuesday or Wednesday.
The exact dates will be confirmed by UEFA in due course, but the kick-off time for all games is 21:00 CET.
