"I'll give 100 per cent for Eintracht" - Filip Kostic

We caught up with new signing Filip Kostic for his first impressions of the club following his move from Hamburg, as well as his aims for the new season.

Filip, how do you feel now that you're an Eintracht player?
"I'm delighted to be here. I had offers from several clubs but I wanted to stay in the Bundesliga, which is why I decided to join Eintracht. I hope to have a good season – and by that I mean a good season free of relegation worries."

You've already had your first training session. How was it?
"It was good. I felt good and it all looked great."

In Mijat Gacinovic and Luka Jovic, there are already two Serbian players in the team. Did you speak to them about coming here?
"I know Luka and Mijat from the national team. Obviously I chatted to them about Eintracht and they passed on lots of information about the club."

What are your aims for the new season?
"I'm trying to prepare as best I can in order to have a successful season with the team. I always want to give my best and get as many goals and assists as possible."

What are your strengths? What kind of player are you?

"I've played in the Bundesliga for four years now and I know what the league's like. I'm the kind of player who always gives 100 per cent for the team and I'll do that at Eintracht too."
