“I feel relieved”

André Silva discusses his contract extension and the forthcoming campaign ahead of Eintracht’s Bundesliga opener.

André Silva on…

…his contract extension at Eintracht: “I’m feeling very happy and relieved now that I’m a permanent Eintracht player. I want to keep growing as a person and as a player in the future. The Bundesliga is very intense and highly competitive, and that’s what I like.”

…head coach Adi Hütter: “He always wants to get the best out of his players. Adi is helping me to get better, and in areas of the pitch that lead to goalscoring opportunities.”

My aim for the coming season is to score goals, but obviously the most important thing is that Eintracht win.

André Silva

…his personal aims this season: “I want to do my best to keep improving and working on myself. Every day, I want to be better than I was the day before. My aim for the coming season is to score goals, but obviously the most important thing is that Eintracht win.”

…the Bundesliga opener against Bielefeld: “If we want to get the three points, we need to train well this week. It’s a great period for us, because you can sense every player’s excitement ahead of the Bundesliga campaign. It’s important to start the league season well, as this can give us confidence for the games that come afterwards.”
