Head coach Adi Hütter: “It’s an unbelievably important win against a side who are very strong at home. The final score flattered us in the end because Fortuna played well and Kevin Trapp kept us in the game with several good saves. My players still deserve huge credit for their character and for getting the win.”

Gelson Fernandes: “Not making any personnel changes wouldn’t have been wise, considering this was our third game in a week. The coach trusts all his players - he proved as much today. All players work hard in training to earn a place in the team. When you can bring on players like Haller and Gacinovic, it’s obviously a plus.”

Goncalo Paciencia: “I work hard so I’m pleased how things went today. I felt good, my confidence is growing, and the goal and the assist capped a fine day at the office. It’s nice to be able to help the team. If I keep scoring goals like this there’s no need to worry. I think we showed today that we have a good squad. We can bring in players without compromising our quality.”
