Hasebe and Bein visit Indeed office

A podium discussion, journalists’ questions, photos and autographs: Makoto Hasebe and Uwe Bein gave personal insights into their professional decision-making processes at the office of main sponsor Indeed.

Not even a week has passed since Eintracht Frankfurt and Indeed extended their partnership until 2026. Before the team touched down in the Far East for their Japan Tour 2022, Makoto Hasebe and Uwe Bein took the opportunity to pay a visit to the Indeed office in Tokyo.

Makoto Hasebe and Uwe Bein gave personal insights into their professional decision-making processes.

Hasebe and Bein took part in an approximately 30-minute question-and-answer session with Indeed staff on a small stage. Topics ranged from the difficulties that can arise when moving abroad, which challenges have to be overcome, the decision-making process involved, how they assess the risk of failure and what advice they can give to job applicants. “Pursue your goals and believe you can achieve them,” were Bein’s words of wisdom for the Indeed employees.

You always have to be ambitious and accept the challenges you face.

Hasebe also shared his thought processes when it comes to making difficult decisions. Whereas in the past he suffered in certain situations because he lacked experience, today his approach is different: “I’ve learned from experience that the more difficult option is often the better one because it’s more interesting. You always have to be ambitious and accept the challenges you face.” Just like in football, you learn more from defeats “than you do from victories. Mistakes are helpful for life experience”.

After answering a few questions from journalists, Bein and Hasebe were happy to pose for a group photo, and handed over a signed jersey before being bid farewell with a round of applause.
