The 20-year-old midfielder, who has been an Eintracht player since 2015, has been handed a professional contract until 30 June 2024 with an option of an extension.

Eintracht Frankfurt have handed a professional contract to yet another homegrown youngster, with Harpreet Ghotra committing his future to the club until 30 June 2024. The Frankfurt born midfielder first joined the Eagles in 2015 before rising through the ranks at the Eintracht youth academy. After making 19 appearances in the U17 and U19 Bundesliga, Ghotra was part of the Eagles’ reinstated U21 side last season, playing a key role in the team’s automatic promotion to the Regionalliga Southwest with three goals and two assists in 24 LOTTO Hessenliga outings. He also played five games in the UEFA Youth League last term.

Harpreet developed well last season and successfully took his first steps in men’s football.

Sporting director Timmo Hardung

Sporting director Timmo Hardung: “Harpreet developed well last season and successfully took his first steps in men’s football. With the reinstated U21 side, he was given the right platform to develop in the best possible way and will continue to have that in the future. At the same time, we as a club are honouring a player’s positive development and underlining the fact, once again, hard work pays off for our young players.”
