Duo back as Eintracht return to training

Erik Durm and André Silva took part in training as Eintracht began their preparations for Friday’s trip to Bremen.

Eintracht are making a habit of starting off on the front foot. Having taken a 2-0 lead 31 minutes into Saturday’s game against FC Bayern Munich, the Eagles also began their preparations for the trip to SV Werder Bremen with a spring in their step. The sun was shining as fit-again duo André Silva and Erik Durm took part in Tuesday’s session with the rest of the team.

Makoto Hasebe stayed in the gym, while Durm, Almamy Toure, Tuta and Amin Younes returned to the changing rooms after around half an hour due to fitness reasons.

High intensity

After the warm-up the squad worked on their ball skills, first on their own before splitting into three groups for the tried-and-tested rondos. As the session went on, the pace and determination levels only increased as the players took part in a short passing drill involving two teams.

After all, the Hessians are determined to consolidate their position in the Bundesliga standings. “Everyone’s going about their work with enthusiasm and wants to keep getting better,” Kevin Trapp said regarding the current intensity levels in training. “We play like we train.”
