“We need to move well and be flexible”

Eintracht boss Oliver Glasner reveals how Eintracht plan on keeping Freiburg at bay this weekend.

Oliver Glasner on…

...personnel: “GoncaloPaciencia will be absent again on Sunday but could be available for Antwerp. Chris Lenz still needs a bit longer but could return before Christmas. The rest are fit.”

…the past few weeks: “In general, we go into every game wanting to win. We’ve won five of our past eight games, drawing one and losing only two – so in terms of results we’ve done well in the past few games, even if our current mood may suggest otherwise.”

…the challenge awaiting Eintracht: “The game in Freiburg will not be an easy task. Eintracht have won only one of their past nine away games there. We’ll be facing a good team in a new stadium and want to put in a good performance. We've identified points that we want to exploit at Freiburg, and of course we expect it to come off. We're always up for the fight. Freiburg are playing really good football and have a lot of confidence, which they're showing in every game. They have a clear idea of how to play”

We have some difficult opponents coming up who won't be easy to beat, but we believe in ourselves.

…the Eagles’ game plan against Freiburg: “They have a clear philosophy but they also like to vary their system – Christian Streich likes to mirror his opponent in order to gain a quick foothold. As for us, we need to move well, be flexible and not be too rigid in our positions.”

…Eintracht’s aims for the rest of the year: “We want to go through as group winners in the Europa League. In the Bundesliga we want to pick up lots of points. We have some difficult opponents coming up who won't be easy to beat, but we believe in ourselves.”
