The sunshine and the opportunity to experience the start of preparations for the away match against VfL Wolfsburg on Sunday 5 March (17:30 CET) drew hundreds of Eintracht fans to the city forest.
They saw fit-again Mario Götze return to the pitch with his teammates following his slight adductor problem. Éric Junior Dina Ebimbe also felt the grass under his feet again – the 22-year-old, who suffered a high ankle sprain in January, worked individually and ran laps.
For Götze and the rest of the group, the intensity increased as the session wore on, with head coach Oliver Glasner working his players hard.
Between Wednesday afternoon and Saturday, there are four more sessions on the agenda for the squad before Frankfurt and Wolfsburg close out Matchday 23 of the Bundesliga.
