Sam, how happy are you with how this past week has gone?
“I’m happy with the two goals, of course. That said, it’s better for an attacker to score the winning goal to earn the team the three points.”
Both goals were set up for you by Filip Kostic. There’s a good undertanding between the two of you, isn’t there?
“Yes, we play really well together. I think everyone knows about his left foot. His accuraccy is exceptional, which is perfect for an attacker.”
As soon as we start rewarding ourselves, things will become second nature again because we have a good team.

Talk us through your goal on Sunday one more time!
“At the end of a dominant attacking move, the ball landed with Filip and I correctly anticipated where the ball might end up. It bounced up again briefly and I caught it just right with my first touch.”
What do you still need to get your first win of the season?
“Overall, I think performances in several games were satisfactory and we deserved to win. As soon as we start rewarding ourselves, things will become second nature again because we have a good team.”
