Farès Chaibi is an Eagle

The Algeria international moves to Eintracht from Toulouse FC, inking a contract until 2028.

Farès Chaibi was born in 2002 in Lyon, from where he moved to the youth academy of Ligue 1 club Toulouse at the age of 16. He made his professional debut in August of last year and went on to make 41 appearances in all competitions for TFC last season, registering eight goals and seven assists. The 20-year-old attacker played a key part in winning the Coupe de France last May – the club’s first trophy in 66 years. Chaibi scored three goals and set up two in five games.

Chaibi, whose family come from Algeria, possesses French and Algerian citizenship. He made his debut for the Algeria national team in March of this year in the successful qualifying campaign for the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations.

“In Farès Chaibi, we’re gaining a player who’s young and capable of improving, and yet already boasts plenty of national and international experience,” said Eintracht sporting director Timmo Hardung. “He can play in multiple positions in attack and offers attributes that will enhance our game. In the talks with Farès, we noticed how eager he is for the new challenge and for Eintracht Frankfurt. We’re looking forward to seeing him in our colours from now.”
