It’s official: Eintracht Frankfurt will play in the UEFA Europa League in 2024/25 – the Eagles’ fourth consecutive season of European football.
Eintracht have appeared in all three UEFA club competitions in the past three seasons – the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League – and have reached the knockout stage on each occasion. They went all the way in the Europa League just over two years ago, lifting the trophy in Seville in May 2022.
New format
The Europa League – and indeed the Champions League and Conference League – will follow a new format from the 2024/25 season. Instead of a group stage, 36 teams will compete in a single league phase.
Draw on 30 August
Eintracht will discover their eight league-phase opponents when the draw takes place on 30 August.
Europa League matchdays
