After defeating FK Radnicki Nis 2-0 in the first leg, Flora Tallinn then drew 2-2 away in Serbia which was enough to see them through – an impressive result over the two legs, with Nis going into the tie as favourites after finishing second in the Serbian top flight last season. The Tallinn team, however, had the advantage of being half-way through their current league campaign, and are currently top of their championship after 19 matches.
