"It will ebb and flow”

Adi Hütter discusses the encounter with VfB Stuttgart and the composition of the team.

Adi Hütter on…

…his side’s prospects against VfB Stuttgart: “We’re expecting a game that will ebb and flow. We obviously want to come back with the three points, but we want to win every Bundesliga game. Everything needs to be right for us to do so tomorrow. It’s quite possible that the team who wins on Saturday will be the team who’s better and quicker in the transitions at the vital moments.”

...team news: “There’s been a setback with Ragnar Ache. He needs an operation and won’t be available for the rest of the calendar year. With the exception of Ragnar, everyone’s fit. That’s a big positive and also a nice dilemma to have because we obviously can’t take every player in the squad.”

Head coach Adi Hütter

…the line-up on Saturday: “Of course, it’s possible that we might make tactical changes tomorrow. But it’s equally possible that, before the international break, we’ll stick with the systems we’ve been using recently. Daichi Kamada has a bit of knock. If he’s not fit, then Amin Younes is poised to start.”

…Ajdin Hrustic: “Ajdin Hrustic is doing well in training. He’s a creative player who has something that some of our other players don’t, but he needs to stay patient and we need to give him time. He needs to get used to the Bundesliga and our style of play.”
