“We have to be clear in our minds”

Oliver Glasner looks ahead to the remainder of the campaign, shares his excitement at the prospect of a capacity crowd and promises Makoto Hasebe a starting berth.

Oliver Glasner on…

…personnel: “Chris Lenz will miss out – he injured his calf against Nürnberg, but not seriously. Everyone else is fit, and the international players have returned with their health intact and with positive experiences. Borré will join us this afternoon. If nothing unexpected happens, Makoto Hasebe will replace Martin Hinteregger. He behaved impeccably while he wasn’t playing and deserves his appearance.”

…playing in front of a capacity crowd: “We’re really looking forward to a full Deutsche Bank Park. I’ve only experienced that once before – as an opponent with Wolfsburg. That’s why I’m looking forward to being able to enjoy the atmosphere this time.”

…how Eintracht will line up in attack: “I’ll speak with Rafael Borré and see how he’s feeling after his long trip. Goncalo Paciencia has shown exactly what we expect from him. Ragnar Ache is also back and has trained remarkably well all week. We’ve got several options in attack.”

We have to be clear in our minds and go into the final straight with joy and enthusiasm.

Head coach Oliver Glasner

…preparations for Greuther Fürth: “I have a lot of respect for Fürth, who have picked up plenty of points in the second half of the campaign. The game earlier this season wasn’t easy and I’m not expecting an easy game on Saturday either. Fürth have a clear playing style. They recently switched to a back three, they get the ball forward quickly and have strikers with a lot of pace. They’re going to draw us into a lot of challenges.”

…expectations: “At the end of the season we’ll be where we deserve to be. I don’t know what will happen in the remaining games. All we can do for the club and all the fans is to win on Saturday by producing a good performance.”

…the last part of the season: “Our fate will be decided in the next six weeks. The most beautiful part of the season is coming up. We’re not thinking about negative scenarios. We have to be clear in our minds and go into the final straight with joy and enthusiasm.”
