Eintracht sign Paxten Aaronson

The 19-year-old American midfielder arrives from Philadelphia Union on a contract valid from January until 30 June 2027.

Eintracht Frankfurt are paving the way for the future with the signing of highly talented attacker Paxten Aaronson. The 19-year-old has already made his breakthrough in the senior game with four goals in 37 Major League Soccer (MLS) outings.

The midfielder recently helped hometown club Philadelphia Union reach the MLS final, and featured in that showpiece fixture against Los Angeles FC, which his side lost 3-0 on penalties after drawing 3-3 after extra time.

Furthermore, Aaronson, who can play in a number of positions in attack, has earned 14 caps for the USA U20s, scoring eight times. He also made headlines recently at the CONCACAF U20 Championship, where he finished as both the tournament’s top scorer and best player.

“In Paxten Aaronson we’ve signed a much sought-after and very talented player who will give our attack even more flexibility in the future,” said board member for sport Markus Krösche. “We have a clear plan for him and want to build him up carefully. We’ll give Paxten all the time necessary to get used to his new surroundings and to develop in the best possible way.”
