Faride Alidou joined Eintracht from Hamburger SV in the summer of last year and is under contract until 30 June 2026. In his first season with the Hessians, he made 21 appearances, including five in the UEFA Champions League. The 22-year-old scored one goal in the away match against Tottenham Hotspur.
The Hamburg native featured in two games for Germany at the European Under-21 Championship in June of this year.

Alidou will now spend the 2023/24 campaign on loan at 1. FC Köln.
