Eintracht Frankfurt and DWS have enjoyed a close partnership since 2017, which has seen sustainable growth through innovative thinking and a reliance on future-orientated areas of activity for both partners as significant pillars of a successful collaboration. The common links between the two sides are set to be developed further and complemented by new areas of cooperation. As well as increasing national and international awareness of the DWS brand and supporting Eintracht’s women’s team, building bridges with the Far East will also be a new part of the agreement.
As part of the internationalisation strategy, Eintracht Frankfurt recently took its men’s first-team squad to Japan, to strengthen both its own brand and that of the Bundesliga in the country. As a partner of the tour, DWS made the most of the trip to organise B2B events.

DWS to implement far-reaching measures to promote women’s football
DWS’s clear visibility in men’s football is now set to be reflected by further measures to promote Eintracht’s women’s team. In addition to the increasing attention and relevance of women’s football across Germany, the successful development of Eintracht Women will be critical to the further extension of the partnership. An advertising presence in the Brentanobad Stadium and the involvement of players in campaigns will demonstrate the various facets of women’s football.
“DWS has been a reference in terms of continuity and reliability for over six decades, and those are values that we share,” said Axel Hellmann, CEO of Eintracht Frankfurt Fußball AG. “Another thing that unites us is that we have the same understanding of the critical future fields of digitalisation, internationalisation and diversity, and have the ambition to be driving forces in our respective sectors. This is why it is so important for us to continue down the common path that we set out five years ago.”
“We have been fortunate enough to be able to support Eintracht Frankfurt in their European journey over the past five years,” said Stefan Hoops, CEO and chair of the executive board of DWS KGaA. “We have supported and celebrated with both the men’s and women’s teams as they made history in Europe, and we’re therefore delighted that we will be able to continue to support the club and the various teams over the next three years. The exciting journeys through Europe are far from over – let’s go Eintracht!”
