"Eintracht is like a big family" - Allan Souza interview

Allan Souza officially became an Eintracht Frankfurt player on Wednesday – much to the delight of the Brazilian midfielder.

Allan, what were your first impressions of your new club?
"I'm very happy to be here. My first impressions are the same as when I was on trial here: it's a big club with great fans who support their team passionately. Those were important factors for me and that's why I'm happy to be here."

What do you make of your new team-mates?
"It's a very different squad to those I've been in at previous clubs. Everyone's like a big family here and that makes things very easy for young players or new signings from abroad. I think it's fantastic."

How would you describe your playing style?
"I consider myself a team player. I'm someone who runs, never stops working hard and always wants to win at all costs."

And what kind of person are you?
"I'm a quiet guy, a family man. I'm going to become a father in October and I'm really looking forward to that. I like listening to music and spending time with family and friends. I just try to do the things that are beneficial for me and my career."

What objectives have you set yourself in Frankfurt?
"On a personal level I want to play as much as possible, have a successful season with the team and help write another positive chapter in the club's history. I want to finish as high as possible with Eintracht, which is where the club belongs. We want to build on the successful campaign last season."
