The analysts used the entry figures of posted comments in common fan blogs and forums as well as social networks such as Facebook and its German equivalent StudiVZ.
They counted just over a million entries relating to Eintracht Frankfurt (1,002,352) followed by FC St. Pauli (622,370) and FC Bayern München (595,685).
The ranking is based on the entry figures of each club which are converted within a scoring system. Registered users of the forums or uploaded videos relating to a club are not taken into account.
