Eintracht Frankfurt sign Robin Koch on permanent deal

The 27-year-old centre-back has signed a contract with the Eagles until 2027.

Robin Koch will remain an Eintracht Frankfurt player beyond the end of the current campaign. The defender, who joined on loan from Leeds United in the summer and whose contract with his parent club was due to expire on 30 June 2024, has signed a new contract with the Eagles until 30 June 2027.

Board member for sport Markus Krösche: “Robin’s long-term commitment to Eintracht is a strong statement. We know what we have in him. He’s one of our leading players and has been a key performer since his first game with us, and someone who our young players in particular can look up to. His highly professional attitude makes him a role model to many. We’re delighted we can continue our journey together.”

Robin Koch: “I’m very happy with my first six months at Eintracht. I’m having a lot of fun every day and feel incredibly settled here. Everything is as I’d hoped it would be. For me and my career, it is therefore a logical step to extend my contract beyond the loan period. I want to continue to shoulder responsibility here and, above all, be successful. We still have a lot to do and I’m very confident that we’ll achieve the goals we’ve set ourselves. I’m really looking forward to the future and an exciting second half of the season.”
