Eintracht for Mexico - Marco Fabián and Carlos Salcedo collect donations for their homeland

Eintracht Frankfurt's Mexican stars Marco Fabián and Carlos Salcedo are asking for support for the victims of the earthquakes in their homeland and will be collecting donations over the coming days.

The scale of the destruction caused by the earthquakes in Mexico has been met with shock across Germany. In particular, the thoughts of Eintracht Frankfurt's two Mexican players, Marco Fabián and Carlos Salcedo, are with their homeland.

In order to help their compatriots, the players themselves are making a considerable donation but they would also like to ask Eintracht fans for their support. With this in mind, Fabián will personally be collecting donations on Friday 29 September. Both players will be grateful for every Euro received. Fabián will have a donation tin in the Eintracht store in the MyZeil shopping centre from approximately 17:30 CEST onwards when he tries out the new FIFA 18 video game with goalkeeper Leon Bätge and plays against Eintracht fans.

The collection drive will continue on Saturday. Before Frankfurt's match against VfB Stuttgart kicks off, Fabián will make his way around the stadium, giving autographs and asking for donations. After the game, Fabián and Salcedo will be stationed outside the VIP entrance.

Eintracht Frankfurt have created an account at Commerzbank for anyone who will not be at the stadium but who would like to make a donation to support those affected by the earthquakes in Mexico: IBAN: DE59 5004 0000 0585 8527 03, BIC: COBADEFFXXX, Reference: "Eintracht for Mexico"

Fabián or Salcedo will deliver the donations to a charity on their next visit to their homeland.
