Oliver Glasner: “It’s incredible what the lads have achieved. I’m honoured and proud because everyone’s always there for the team. After being 2-0 down early on it could have gone the other way with Leverkusen’s strength on the counter-attack. It was important we equalised as soon as possible. After that we played fantastically well. I’m incredibly proud of the team – it was a top performance from everyone on the pitch.”
The second half was a typical Eintracht game.

Djibril Sow: “It’s a very nice feeling. We finally managed to score a lot of goals. The margin of victory is deserved and it was a good performance from us at home. I’m happy that I’m able to help the team with goals at the moment. To come back against a team like that after trailing 2-0 speaks volumes of the energy and spirit in our performance. Although a lot of things went against us, we never gave up.”
Christopher Lenz: “Our mentality is incredible. We’ve shown that in the closing stages of several games. Today we turned a 2-0 deficit into a sensational 5-2 win at home. That’s the party we wanted to throw! The second half was a typical Eintracht game. If we put that much into every game, there’s still a lot possible for us. I had to wait three months until I was finally allowed back on the pitch and I’m very happy.
