Head coach Dino Toppmöller: “Of course we wanted to play a bit better football – which wasn’t easy today – and we want to win games. It’s a spirited point which we’ll take with us and gives us something to build on. All in all, after several difficult weeks involving midweek fixtures, I’m proud of the performance and the fact we fought back twice against rested opponents who have racked up the most intensive runs in the league.”
Timothy Chandler: “Every second I play, I try to help the team and the club. To get the assist for an important goal – and point – was very important and makes me proud. This result is very, very important for us as a team. Of course we can play better, but the main thing today was our work ethic. We wanted to show everyone that we’re a unit.”
Kevin Trapp: “The way we fought was good. We have to continue with that attitude now. We mustn't think too much – we just have to do it. We have a lot of players who need to play with clear heads. If we can achieve that, we'll be able to win again.”
