ECA holds PEC-Meeting at Eintracht Frankfurt

Eintracht Frankfurt proudly hosted the European Club Association's (ECA) Platform for Executive Consultation (PEC) meeting for Network Clubs in Frankfurt.

We are constantly looking to give clubs of all shapes and sizes a voice; listening to their views and finding solutions that seek to benefit everyone. ECA is proud to represent over 500 clubs across Europe, and we will continue our progressive reforms to expand our membership even further. The PEC format, aimed at fostering dialogue between the ECA and its, now more than 500 members has proven to be an invaluable platform for strategic discussions and collaboration. Eintracht Frankfurt, as the host of this two-day event, ensured a seamless and productive gathering, emphasizing the club's commitment to the growth and development of European football overall. Working sessions at the Deutsche Bank Park and a Dinner at the Opera Frankfurt stimulated the exchange of views and voicing opinions. These exchanges are crucial for ECA to prioritizing topics on the agenda, reforms and value propositions for clubs.

In his address to the participants, ECA Chairman Nasser Al-Khelaifi mentioned Eintracht Frankfurt as an exemplary case of active participation and encouraged club representatives to follow Eintracht Frankfurt’s way. ECA is very happy to help each individual club on their path with its numerous support services.

A notable highlight of the PEC-Meeting in Frankfurt was the announcement that this would be the last gathering of network clubs. In a move towards greater unity and integration, all network members will transition to become full ECA members in the future. Eintracht Frankfurt and ECA look forward to the continued growth and success of ECA’s members, working together to address challenges, benefit from on opportunities, and shape the future of European football.

The PEC-Meeting in Frankfurt brought together participants from 17 different countries representing over 30 clubs. Across Europe, from England to Armenia. Representing the entire landscape, like leading Bundesliga-Clubs like VfB Stuttgart to the women's football club Gibraltar Wave FC.
