With 13 Eintracht Frankfurt players heading off to their national teams following Sunday’s triumph in Munich, the remaining squad members embarked on the first of four training sessions between now and Thursday. Among the eight outfield players who were fully involved were Erik Durm and Evan Ndicka, who missed the last two games through injury. Meanwhile, Makoto Hasebe and Christopher Lenz completed a light jogging session.
Captain Sebastian Rode trained individually as he works his way back from a knee injury, as did Almamy Toure after the strain of playing twice last week following his lay-off.
Passing drills and attacking moves were the main order of the day at Deutsche Bank Park, coupled with sprints and transition drills.
