Dramatic end to U21 final

Brown, Collins and Knauff all featured in the UEFA U21 European Championship final, which ended in disappointment for Germany following a 3-2 extra-time defeat by England.

Nevertheless, coach Antonio Di Salvo’s Germany’s side - with Nnamdi Collins and Nathaniel Brown once again in the starting XI – fought back and equalised at 2-2 via goals from Nelson Weiper (45’+1) and Paul Nebel (61’).
