“Great togetherness”

Evan Ndicka talks exclusively about his role, the team and David Abraham.

Evan, how was the first training session of the week?
“It went well. Even though it was very intense we all had fun and laughed a lot.”

How do you view your role personally?
“I always want to do my best, give a good account of myself in training and in matches, and help the team as much as possible.”

There’s a great togetherness in the team and everyone’s pulling in the same direction. That makes us a unit and gives us a lot of strength.

How important were the last two victories for the team?
“They were really important, because they helped our self-confidence ahead of our coming matches. But we can’t afford to rest on our laurels – we need to maintain our focus now.”

What makes the team so strong?
“There’s a great togetherness in the team and everyone’s pulling in the same direction. That makes us a unit and gives us a lot of strength.”

How much of a loss will David Abraham’s departure be?
“David’s a very important person for me personally and for the team as a whole. We’re grateful for everything he’s given the club.”
