Eintracht Frankfurt and US top-flight club LA Galaxy have agreed terms on the permanent transfer of attacker Dejan Joveljic, who was under contract in Frankfurt through to 2024.
Joveljic joined Eintracht in 2019 from Red Star Belgrade, and made 10 appearances across all competitions in the first half of the 2019/20 campaign. The 21-year-old then went out on loan for the rest of the season to RSC Anderlecht in Belgium.
Last term, Joveljic again went out on loan, this time to Austrian Bundesliga club Wolfsberger AC, scoring 20 goals in 46 matches. The Serbia international returned to Frankfurt in early July and took part in the club’s pre-season training and friendlies, but now he is off to pursue his career in the US top flight with Major League Soccer club Los Angeles Galaxy.
