This year, the design of the new Eintracht Frankfurt home jersey pays tribute to the late 1980s. Diagonal red and black block stripes are the distinguishing features of the jersey and pay homage to the shirt worn by the Eagles between 1987 and 1990. Narrow stripes in a subtle red and white then provide sleek accents and cohesively round off the retro design.
The transition to the black sleeves creates a harmonious and dynamic look alongside the rounded black neck. This season marks the first time that the home shirt will be worn by the men's, women's and Esports teams.
The front of the jersey features Eintracht's eagle logo in red and white, the Swoosh emblem of equipment manufacturer Nike, and the logo of primary sponsor Indeed, who will also sponsor the women's and Esports jerseys for the first time. The back of the shirts is a striking red colour, while the characteristic stripe design is continued again in the lower third.
Names and numbers will be printed in white on a red background on the back.
Sustainable innovation
The new Eintracht Frankfurt jersey that the players will wear on the pitch is made from 100 percent recycled polyester fabric obtained from recycled plastic bottles.
This produces a shirt that delivers premium aesthetic appeal while protecting the environment. The plastic bottles are collected, cleaned and melted down to produce a high-quality yarn for manufacturing. This is part of Nike's 'Move to Zero' initiative, in which football apparel leads the way in terms of sustainability.
No other sport has the same global reach as football, which is why Nike has been using recycled polyester to make football jerseys since 2010. Every year, Nike helps divert one billion plastic bottles from landfill and waterways by producing and designing with recycled polyester.
Availability
The new stadium version home jerseys for men and children will be available from Wednesday 5 July in the mainaqila app, the Eintracht Frankfurt online store, at nike.com, in official fan shops and partner fan shops in Fulda and Wetzlar.
The stadium version is available in sizes S to 3XL for men, and in sizes XS to XL for women and children. The stadium version for women and the fan version for adults and children will be available from Monday 17July. The player version will be available at a later date.
Price
The stadium version home jersey for the 2023/24 season can be purchased for €95 for adults and €75 for children.
As in previous years, club members will receive a special discount when purchasing jerseys. The current price of €70 instead of €95 for the stadium version for adults and €55 instead of €75 for the children's version will be valid until 31 December 2023.
