Dario Gebuhr handed pro deal

The 20-year-old centre-back, who has been with the Eagles since 2017, has signed a professional contract valid until 30 June 2025 with the option of an extension.

Eintracht Frankfurt have handed a professional contract to homegrown player Dario Gebuhr. The Wiesbaden-born defender has already had a taste of the Bundesliga this season, having been part of Eintracht’s squad on each of the last five matchdays and made his debut in last month’s away match at Borussia Dortmund. Gebuhr, who joined Eintracht’s youth academy from SV Wehen Wiesbaden in 2017, has also been one of the standout performers in the Eagles’ Under-21 side.

Dario is a good example that the door is open for young players at Eintracht Frankfurt.

Timmo Hardung, Eintracht Frankfurt Fußball AG Sporting Director: “Dario’s development this season has been impressive. Thanks to his fine performances for the Under-21s and in the UEFA Youth League, he’s been able to make a name for himself and put himself in the frame for bigger opportunities. He’s a player who wants to keep improving, works hard on himself, has a good character and a professional attitude. Dario is a good example that the door is open for young players at Eintracht Frankfurt.”
