Danny da Costa has agreed a move to 1. FSV Mainz for the 2022/23 season, after the 28-year-old’s contract with Eintracht expires on 30 June this year.
The right-back spent the second half of last season on loan at Mainz before returning to the Eagles once his six-month loan spell was over.
SGE’s number 24 has made a total of 128 appearances since joining the club in 2017 and was part of the 2018 DFB Cup-winning squad. This season, he has played 13 times for the Eagles – 10 in the Bundesliga, two in the UEFA Europa League and one in the DFB Cup.
