Eagles midfielder Hrustic took a COVID-19 test after suffering from cold-like symptoms on Wednesday morning. The results of the test came back positive.
The Australia international is one of the few remaining players in the Eintracht squad who has yet to be vaccinated against the virus. The 25-year-old continues to suffer from mild symptoms and is currently isolating at home. Because the majority of the squad have already been vaccinated, and the fact that Hrustic was tested and went into isolation quickly, there are no further positive cases to report.
