The Bundesliga and Bundesliga 2 fixture lists are out! Following the German Football League’s announcement on Friday, Eintracht Frankfurt can look forward to beginning and ending the 2023/24 season on home soil.
The Eagles’ campaign gets under way at Deutsche Bank Park on Saturday 19/Sunday 20 August, with promoted SV Darmstadt 98 the visitors. Eintracht beat their Hesse rivals 4-2 in the last 16 of the 2022/23 DFB Cup back in February.
Bayern and Dortmund to visit in 2023
Leipzig, who beat Eintracht in the final in Berlin, travel to the Eagles on the final day of the season, the game kicking off at 15:30 CEST on Saturday 18 May 2024. Once again, Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund both visit the Deutsche Bank Park during the first half of the campaign, with Eintracht taking on 2022/23 runners-up BVB on Matchday 9 and champions Bayern on Matchday 14.
The first 16 games of the new season will take place in 2023, while the only midweek matches are being held on Tuesday 19 and Wednesday 20 December – just before the winter break. The Eagles take on Borussia Mönchengladbach at home in the run-up to Christmas.
Two away games in the new year
This season’s winter break will be shorter than previous years, with the action getting back under way between 12 and 14 January 2024. Frankfurt round off the first half of the season (Matchday 17) with a trip to Leipzig.
The second half of the campaign officially gets under way the following weekend, when Eintracht travel to Darmstadt (19-21 January).
