Berlin reloaded? First Cup Round Preview: TuS Erndtebrück v Eintracht

The Eagles enjoyed a sucessful cup season 2016/17 in which they reached the Berlin final (2-1 defeat v Dortmund). Now it's \"game on\" again in the first round; against fourth division side TuS Erndtebrück.

Build-Up

TuS Erndtebrück play in the fourth division in Germany (Regionalliga West) and recorded a couple of 2-2 draws this young season so far. This is their second cup qualification, two years ago they played against Darmstadt 98 (5-0 defeat). Eintracht look back on a successful DFB Cup season 2016/17 in which they reached the Berlin final (2-1 defeat v Borussia Dortmund). The Eagles most recent pre-season friendles were a 3-0 win v Real Betis and a 5-2 win v FSV Frankfurt.

Attendance

Around 5,000 Eintracht supporters will make their way to the near-by Leimbachstadion in Siegen which is about a two hour trip by car or train.
