Ben Manga commits to Eintracht Frankfurt

The Eagles have extended Ben Manga’s contract until 30 June 2026.

Eintracht Frankfurt have reached yet another important decision for the future of the club after agreeing a contract extension with chief scout and squad planner Ben Manga until 30 June 2026.

With his outstanding network of international contacts and by gradually expanding the Eagles’ scouting department, Manga holds a key role at Eintracht. The 47-year-old discovered several players currently in the first-team squad, before bringing them to the club. Manga will take on additional responsibilities and assume the role of director of professional football and squad manager at Eintracht.

When Bruno Hübner leaves the club at the end of the current season, the role of sporting director will cease to exist at Eintracht Frankfurt. As well as the director of professional football and squad manager, who will be in charge of scouting and squad planning, Eintracht also plan on appointing a technical director before the end of the season.

I still see many development opportunities at the club and I’m very happy to remain a part of the Eintracht family.

“We’ve made a lot of changes and developments at Eintracht Frankfurt in recent years,” said Manga, who joined Eintracht in summer 2016. “I still see many development opportunities at the club and I’m very happy to remain a part of the Eintracht family. Eintracht are structured in a stable and competent manner, and that’s an important prerequisite for a successful future.”

“Ben has played a big part in Eintracht’s current success and development in recent years,” added board member Fredi Bobic. “His flair for talent-spotting and gifts as a scout are very pronounced and will come to the fore even more in this new structure.”
