Eintracht Frankfurt can count on the services of Amin Younes for the next two years after reaching a loan agreement with Napoli valid until 30 June 2022, with the Eagles holding a purchase option at the end of that period.
Younes came through the Borussia Mönchengladbach youth academy and subsequently played for 1. FC Kaiserslautern in Bundesliga 2 and Dutch side Ajax, where he gained experience in the UEFA Champions League. The two-footed midfielder has also made five senior appearances for Germany, scoring twice.
"Technically gifted player"
“In Amin Younes we’re getting a technically gifted player who’s a very good dribbler and already has a lot of experience on the international stage,” said Eintracht board member Fredi Bobic.
“He can make our game more unpredictable with his pace and attacking qualities. Here in Frankfurt, Amin has the best conditions to get back to his best and to help us further. We’re confident he’ll do that. The fact that Amin has come to us at a time like this and has also made very big financial concessions shows his character, and that he already identifies with Eintracht. I’d especially like to thank president Aurelio De Laurentiis, who made this transfer possible."
