Almamy Toure sidelined

The defender will be out of action for several weeks due to a tendon injury.

Almamy Toure came on as a substitute for Erik Durm in the 71st minute of the home game against VfB Stuttgart on Saturday, but was replaced by Timothy Chandler just 11 minutes later after suffering an injury.

The 24-year-old was diagnosed with damaged tendons in the psoas muscle after his studs got caught in the turf while sprinting and changing direction. As a result, Toure will be out of action for a number of weeks.
