Adi Hütter on…

…the friendly against PSV Eindhoven: “We’ll most likely play with two different teams – we’ve got enough variety in the squad to do that. I want to give everyone the chance to play 45 minutes against a very good side. It’s also a good opportunity for the newcomers to show what they can do.”

…summer signing Steven Zuber: “He’s settled in well and the team have welcomed him with open arms. That goes for all of our new players. Steven’s a good guy and a good player who likes the way we play. He fits in with our style.”

…summer signing Ragnar Ache: “He’s a special kind of player which makes him an exciting addition to our squad. Ragnar’s got a lot of qualities and gives it everything in training. He’s quick, dynamic, has a lot of speed and his physique makes him very strong in the tackle. He’s just lacking a bit of a cutting edge in front of goal.”

…Dejan Joveljic: “Dejan is a poacher. He’s got a fantastic eye for goal and has other great qualities. It’s important for him to keep developing and the only way to do that is to play regularly. We’re as interested as he is in finding him a loan deal at a club where he’ll get playing time and can build up his confidence by scoring goals.”

…the atmosphere during pre-season: “All I can say is that I see a lot of commitment and desire in every training session. Everyone feels that they need to fight for their place and I’m very happy with that attitude.”
