Following an extensive hearing on Tuesday, the sporting tribunal of the German Football Association (DFB) has upheld the sanction against Abraham of a seven-week ban from 10 November to 29 December 2019, along with a fine of €25,000. An appeal can be lodged with the DFB federal court within a week.
The DFB sports tribunal had sanctioned Abraham for events during the Bundesliga game against Freiburg in a written, single judge procedure, against which Eintracht appealed.
