Eintracht Frankfurt and Almamy Touré will go their separate ways at the end of the 2022/23 season. The Malian defender has made 80 appearances for Eintracht in all competitions since joining from AS Monaco in January 2019, registering three goals and six assists. The former France U21 international also played a key role in the Eagles’ historic UEFA Europa League triumph in 2022, appearing in every knockout game from the quarter-final onwards and going the distance in the 5-4 penalty shootout victory over Rangers in the final in Seville. The right-footer has made eight appearances across all competitions this season.
Board member for sport Markus Krösche: “Almamy has experienced a lot with Eintracht in recent years and we’ve always been able to rely on him when he’s been needed. The triumph in Seville, when he was on the pitch and played his part, will obviously live long in the memory. We’re very grateful to him for that and wish him all the best in his future career.”
