4000 Thank Yous – Ice Buckets – Haris on Target

As the summer draws to an end, it gets icy in Frankfurt. Many Eagles participated in the #ALSIceBucketChallenge and Eintracht’s new signing, Haris Seferovic, is cold as ice too – on and off the pitch!

First and foremost, 4000 times  "Thank you!" to everyone who is following our English Twitter Channel. We reached 4000 followers this week and are very happy and proud about your interest and support!

Prep time for the Eagles ended with the Official Season Opening – the Frankfurt Main Finance Cup 2014. The Eagles welcomed the Italian top team, Inter Milan, for a friendly. Before kick-off the new team was officially presented in front of the Commerzbank Arena and some of the new players got to meet Eintracht mascot Attila for the first time.

Before the Bundesliga start, Eintracht travelled to Berlin to compete in the first DFB Cup Round. 4000 fans followed the Eagles to see a 2-0 win over FC Viktoria 1889. Everyone hopes that we’ll come back to Berlin! The DFB Cup Final is traditionally held in Germany’s capital.

Eintracht’s latest signing, Haris Seferovic, is already a true Eagle! He took his dog, Rocky, for a walk to check out soccer wallpaintings and constantly scored in the past games against Inter, Berlin, and Freiburg. That’s how we love our newcomers!

In the Social Media world it has already become a tradition: The “Locker Room-Pic” after an important win! Eintracht had a great start into the 2014/2015 Bundesliga season with a home win against SC Freiburg. Hopefully, we will see many more post-win pics this season. Great job, lads!

The # ALSIceBucketChallenge is all over Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Many players supported the good cause and nominated others to do the same. Here are all the videos from our Eagles!

Last but not least it's こんにちは!or Konnichiwa! as we have arranged for Japanese language Twitter and Facebook accounts - check out @eintracht_jp (Tw.) and Eintracht Frankfurt_jp (FB)!
