Patrick Finger

Making it into the professional team as a U19 player, can be quite a challenge for any youth player in football. Patrick Finger did it. Born in Riedstadt, he signed his first professional contract in February 2019 and thus joined the Eintracht Team until 30.06.2020.

After joining from SV Darmstadt 98 at the start of the 2015/16 season, Finger initially played for the Under-15s before spending one and a half years with the Under-17s, who he went on to captain. During the second half of the season he supported the U19 B-Junior aswell by fighting to stay in the lague. The left footed gave his debut with the A-Juniors in March 2018. Ever since then the 18-year-old has firmly established in the U19 and scored two goals and brought it up to five assists in twelfe games.

Furthermore the flexible midfielder, who has shone as a left-back already, has an inherent part in the German youth Football Association (DFB) since his young days in the U15-team. His dedication seems to go on in many ways, as he has already completed a one-year school internship at the office of Eintracht Frankfurt e.V.

Henceforth, the team-friendly bundle of energy will fill in the professional team of Eintracht and looking back to his previous career, it seems to be only a matter of time until he will be able to play for his first time for the professionals.
