Martin Hinteregger signs permanent deal with Eintracht Frankfurt

Born on September 7th in Sankt Veit an der Glan in southern Austria, Hintereggers footballing runway begins in 1999 at SGA Sirnitz. A couple of years later, it pulled him to RB Salzburg, where he went through the youth teams until the U19, followed by his first appearances with the professionals. After being able to establish himself in the city of "Mozarts" relatively quickly, he was awarded several national Championship- (5) and cup wins (4) with RB Salzburg in the following years. 

While he has been used less in the season of 2015/16, the 1.86m tall austrian decided to be lend to Borussia Mönchengladbach during the winter break, before switching teams permanently to FC Augsburg in the summer of 2016. The left-footed defender counted 83 Bundesliga apperances, as well as being a permanent player during the DFB-Cup, by regulary causing major problems to his opponents with his robust and simultaneously clarified style of play.

Martin Hinteregger has joined Eintracht on a permanent basis, with the Austrian signing a deal to keep him at the club until the summer of 2024. I’ve really come to love Eintracht," said Hinteregger, who will join up with the rest of the squad after today’s match and travel to training camp in Windischgarsten. "The last six months were incredible, and I feel very much at home in Frankfurt, so I’m delighted that the transfer has come off."
