Filip Kostic

Fast, faster, Filip Kostic. Through the signing of the Serbian rocket in summer 2018, Eintracht Frankfurt gained an incredibly dynamic player that aside from his high speed is also equipped with an extraordinary technique and an impressive thrustfulness. In his first season with the Eagles, Filip Kostic has already given proof of his extensive skillset resulting in the left winger developing into a crucial part of the team.

For some it might be surprising that Kostic did not need much time to adapt in Frankfurt, but given the fact that he has already played for Stuttgart and Hamburg before, there was reason enough to anticipate that Kostic's rise at the Main would not take long. During his four years in Stuttgart and Hamburg, he was well-known as both goal scorer (17 goals) and assist provider (18 assists) which was also noticed by the coach of the Serbian national team that time. Accordingly, Kostic's debut for the national team in 2015 was followed by many games for his home country - including three appearances during the FIFA World Cup 2018 in Russia.

Since last summer, Kostic is playing for Eintracht Frankfurt. Given his explosive nature he represents a real enrichment for the Eagles' offense. That is also why Kostic is widely considered as an integral success factor this season - no wonder it is almost impossible imagining Eintracht Frankfurt playing without him by now.
